Rock Band Project

With this project I somewhat learned how it would be to have a rock band and set up all the promotion items to get good sells. I learned how to work with a group better as well. The marketing mix was involved by promoting sales with cd's t-shirts and concert tour posters and our lethal juice tour bus. The products was done by cd's and backstage passes and other lethal accessories. The prices were low for our concerts and our cd's were cheap. The ticket prices for the concerts started at $12 to $35 depending on where you want to sit. There was also a $50 backstage pass you could buy to meet the band. We were able to distribute ourselves by traveling on the tour bus and performing live to our audience's. Our target market was teenage to mid-age people who love heavy metal music. We used the 7 key functions of marketing by designing a cool logo and band name with product/service management. We used distribution by making concert posters and t-shirts to push our market around the country. We sold c'ds, shirts, and backstage passes to our concerts.

my thoughts

The project was a very fun experience and it helped me with teamwork even more. I like working with Danielle and Clarence because we had fun creating names for certain things and finding cool pictures to put on our wiki page. I liked our logo because it fits the name Lethal Juice perfectly. Also one of the first things we did was our picture and that was actually better than i expected. As a team we found the best picture to fit our image of "rock stars". As the days went on to work on the project we decided we could help each other out by seperating the work to make it easier for us and to use our time wisely. One of my favorite assignments i worked on was creating the tour bus. It was so simple but kind of fun to edit the bus and make it "lethal". My teammates worked hard on their assignments and without them none of this would have been as successful as it did. We finished everything on time and didnt really have any big problems, a few times we discussed what way something should have been done but we found a way to make it work so that all three of us could be happy. So in conclusion i must say that this project was a really great experience in so many ways and I would love to do it again.
